Some funny recent kidisms:
Jannika: Mom, where does Quarter live?
Me: (extremely confused) Who is Quarter?
Jannika: Remember, she is the nice lady we met at Church.
Me: (a light turns on as I realize she is talking about a lady in our old ward whose name is... Penny!)
Words Kirsten uses
Kiss-idea: a kiss (the day after I made her a quesadilla) ie: "I need a hug and a kiss-idea!"
Shoe: This is how she used to say "sure" but today she asked if I wanted to go downtown and I said "shoe" like she used to and she corrected me, "Mom, it's 'shore'"!
This is not great: said any time anything is not going her way (which is a lot of the time!)
Clarissa obviously can't talk yet but she is getting up on her hands and knees and Grandma has been feeding her prunes every day to keep her "regular". She is a lot happier when she poops! And when she has 2 naps a day.
Yesterday, Kyle and and my sister, LeAnne, planned a surprise party for me for my birthday. Kyle accidentally spilled the beans but it was a really fun party anyway. Thanks Mom, Nan and Kyle for the party!
