What a neat general conference. The overarching theme was really something that I needed to hear. I have found myself often getting disappointed lately and some of the talks given really helped me realize that I just need to apply myself more dilligently to the things I know I should be doing and everything will be okay. I love coming away from watching conference with new goals and a new outlook. One of my favorite talks was Elder Wirthlin's talk in the Saturday afternoon session. His theme was something that I really need to remember: "Come what may and love it." All of the points he made were things I needed to hear and I am so glad that we have conference two times a year so we can receive these insights from our leaders.
Well, the kitchen isn't all the way done but I am pretty stoked about these before and after pictures anyway. So here's the before (ie: old cabinets, wallpaper, pizza hut light fixture)

Wow, the "Before and After" is totally CRAZY!
I loved conference too. Hopefully, I can upload it to a podcast, so I can listen to it without crazy kids running around:)
J's gonna be in Baltimore all week... sniff...sniff... he didn't get to watch it with us:(
I love how the new kitchen looks!
And I agree....conference was so great! Everything I needed to hear!
I loved conference too! I love how the talks give different insights to each individual. The kitchen looks great! Good job to all of you guys for working so hard to make it look so nice!
The kitchen looks amazing!! YOu guys really want to move?!?!? I guess I understand about being closer to your mom to help her out. I hope things are going well!
The kitchen looks great. That'll be sad to leave it, but it definitely will help sell the house to have that updated and looking so good.
You don't have to leave do you? I know, I'm being selfish, but it's been fun having you guys in Price. It would be hard to say good-bye to such a beautiful kitchen. Kyle and the other guys who have participated have really done a beautiful job thus far. I'm glad I could see first hand the great craftsmanship.
I too enjoyed conference although I have to admit that I missed all of Saturday because we were off playing in Provo! I actually enjoyed President Monson's talk the most on Sunday about the importance of celebrating simple things and enjoying where we are now in life because we will look back and miss it. It has helped me to think more optimistically about little daily things my kids do. They'll grow up too fast!
Wow, great renovation! Love it!
We'll just call you guys the "Handy Manny" family! Taylor likes to watch that show now that we have free cable while we live in the apartment! Did you take that way cute picture of your girls that's on your blog? It is Sooo Cute!!
